Assistant Manager – Real Estate / Property Management Reporting To. Chief Operating Officer / Management Role Summary We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and reliable Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day management of real estate portfolios. This role is suitable for someone with a good attitude, strong sense of responsibility, good computer skills, and basic bookkeeping ability. Prior property experience is helpful but not essential. Key Responsibilities Liaise with tenants on rental matters, maintenance issues, complaints and general building matters. Support rental administration, including tracking rent, deposits, arrears, lease expiries and tenant records. Handle basic bookkeeping, including recording income and expenses, checking invoices, filing receipts and preparing simple summaries. Use Excel, Word, email and basic office software to maintain records, prepare reports and organise documents. Conduct regular site inspections to check building condition, cleanliness, safety and maintenance issues. Coordinate repairs and maintenance works with contractors, technicians, cleaners and service providers. Respond to urgent building issues such as leaks, pipe bursts, power failures, lift issues, flooding or tenant emergencies. Assist in managing security staff, duty rosters, incident reports and day-to-day building operations. Obtain quotations, arrange contractor visits, monitor work progress and check completed works. Maintain proper records for leases, invoices, tenant correspondence, inspection reports, permits and building documents. Support renovation, reinstatement, sale, leasing or other property-related projects when required. Carry out other duties as instructed by the COO and management. Requirements Responsible, honest, practical and willing to learn. Good attitude and able to work well as part of a team. Basic bookkeeping ability, including recording payments, expenses, invoices and receipts. Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, email and general office software. Able to communicate politely and professionally with tenants, contractors, agents, staff and management. Organised, responsive and able to follow up on tasks until completion. Comfortable handling both office administration and on-site property matters. Able to stay calm and practical when dealing with urgent issues. Prior experience in property management, building operations, administration or bookkeeping is an advantage, but not required. Ideal Candidate
