Business Analyst – Finance Transformation (12-month contract)

My client is a well-established insurance company, known for its wide range of insurance products and services. They are currently expanding their innovative Finance Transformation Team and are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to drive critical strategic initiatives and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced project environment. Location: Based in Hong Kong, with occasional travel abroad required. What You Will Do: • Process Optimization & Automation: Document and analyze end-to-end finance processes, identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities to improve General Ledger, month-end close, intercompany recharges, and cost allocations. • Requirements Engineering & Design: Analyze user needs and produce high-quality process maps, business requirements, gap analyses, and operating procedures. • Strategic Advisory & Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Tax, HR, Technology) to design effective future-state solutions, drive cost-benefit analyses, and support executive decision-making. • Project Governance & Delivery: Support testing, implementation, and change management. Provide consistent project updates, flag critical roadblocks early, and present actionable risk mitigation strategies. • Executive Reporting: Execute comprehensive data analysis and develop high-impact presentations and management reports for project stakeholders and executive leadership.
