Risk Analyst– Futures Clearing Merchant (FCM)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Assist in monitoring real-time risk exposures across all client accounts and proprietary positions during U.S. overnight hours (TBD) • Learn to operate and manage the CME Globex Credit Controls (GC2) platform under the guidance of senior risk staff • Support the evaluation of margin collateral adequacy, including haircut application and concentration analysis • Participate in end-of-day and intraday margin processes, gaining familiarity with initial margin, maintenance margin, and variation margin workflows • Assist in conducting stress tests and reviewing VaR outputs, learning to interpret results and recommend risk actions • Monitor position limits and flag potential breaches for review and escalation • Learn and follow established risk escalation procedures, including documentation and communication protocols • Investigate potential market data integrity issues under the direction of senior team members • Prepare overnight risk reports and incident summaries for senior management review • Participate in ongoing training sessions, self-study, and mentorship programs to accelerate professional development Show More
