High-speed optical transceiver test engineer (Japan) What you will do We are looking for a motivated and dynamic test engineer, focusing on characterization of optical transceivers constructed from advanced Silicon Photonics and scaled-CMOS electronics. You will be part of a transceiver design team that will realize and design advanced optical IO transceiver for future AI/ML applications. More in particular you will: • Use high-end measurement equipment such as a vector network analyzer, high-speed waveform generators and sampling scopes, and the necessary supporting equipment, tools and parts to characterize both PIC and EIC test structures as well as fully integrated optical transceiver demonstrators. • Work closely with the system architect, the PIC and EIC design teams to ensure the devices being designed can be readily characterized, with a view to eventual adoption of measurement procedures in high-volume production.
