Position Overview JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a talented Investment Banking Associate to join our team in Tokyo, focusing on executing transactions in Japan. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing M&A deals, capital raising activities, and providing strategic advice to clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities • Support senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing M&A transactions, equity and debt offerings, and other financial advisory services in Japan. • Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and valuation assessments to assist in client pitches and transaction processes. • Prepare detailed financial models, pitch books, and presentation materials for client meetings and transactions. • Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data rooms, and liaise with legal, compliance, and other internal teams to ensure deal execution is seamless. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry contacts to identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's presence in the region. • Assist in mentoring and training junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
