JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Manager will be part of the investment and development team to support the company’s strategic growth by supporting the business development efforts. The candidate will be exposed to business development activities and get to work on deals from the origination stage to contract conclusion. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct feasibility studies for potential hotel management deals, partake in work relating to bidding or tendering process, including market research and underwriting of each potential project including critical market and competitive data, tracking and establishing pickup trends, occupancy history, and provide recommendations to management • Conduct market research and assist in generating investment and development leads through contacts with developers, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultants and government tourism bodies, track new projects pipeline, maintain both deal and contact databases • Develop financial projections, presentations, proposals and pitch materials in connection to each business development opportunity and work with various internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, including hotel operations and technical services team • Work with development team to develop and implement business development strategies to grow the business and secure new hotel management contracts Show More
