Job Description

Core Responsibilities: • Define the overall technical architecture for Aurora's platform, ensuring it is modular, scalable, and maintainable across multiple markets. • Lead, hire, and mentor the engineering team, including Optimization Engineers, Data Engineers, and DevOps. • Make critical technology choices, including programming languages, optimization solvers, database systems, and cloud infrastructure. • Establish development practices, including code review, testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes. • Oversee the integration with RelyEZ Poland's EMS, ensuring reliable real-time data flows and dispatch execution. • Ensure the platform meets required performance standards for latency, reliability, and security, particularly for fast frequency regulation markets. • Collaborate with the Forecasting Lead to integrate forecasting models into the optimization engine. • Communicate technical progress and risks to Aurora leadership and RelyEZ stakeholders.
