Job Description

About the role Our client, a reputable global law firm is seeking a Document Production Specialist to ensure that all legal and business documents are produced to a professional standard, deadlines are met, and staff have reliable support for their software and formatting needs. They combine technical proficiency, administrative support, and client service in a role that is critical to the smooth running of a law firm’s operations. Key Responsibilities • Document creation & formatting: Produces and revises legal documents, financial statements, charts, presentations, and correspondence to firm standards. • Technical document support: Handles advanced formatting (tables of contents, cross‑references, defined terms, indexing), converts files across software platforms, and creates mail merges or fillable PDFs. • Troubleshooting & recovery: Resolves document issues, restores corrupted files, and ensures documents are error‑free and properly formatted. • User support: Provides frontline assistance to colleagues using MS Office and legal‑specific software, often via remote access or support calls. • Workflow management: Logs tasks, coordinates with supervisors, and ensures deadlines are met — sometimes across time zones to align with US offices. • Administrative coverage: May cover the front desk in the supervisor’s absence and flexibly adjust hours to meet urgent deadlines.
