Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Data Business Analyst to support a large-scale Finance Transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing a new Group-approved data structure, supporting the replacement of legacy MI reporting platforms, and helping deliver a new management information (MI) reporting solution. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyse, and document business, data, and reporting requirements across Finance stakeholders. • Support the implementation of a new data structure designed by an external consulting/vendor partner. • Conduct data mapping, data lineage, and gap analysis activities to ensure successful migration and adoption. • Drive the transition from legacy MI reporting platforms to a new reporting solution. • Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Data, and Change teams to define target-state reporting capabilities. • Produce business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and data dictionaries. • Support UAT planning, test execution, defect management, and deployment activities. • Monitor data quality, reporting accuracy, and governance controls throughout implementation. • Engage senior stakeholders and provide regular progress updates across the programme.
