About the job We are partnering with a top-tier foreign bank for a FX Derivatives Trader position. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-value FX advisory and risk-management solutions to direct clients and Relationship Managers, helping them achieve their hedging, trading, and investment objectives. • Cultivate and maintain close partnerships with a portfolio of key clients and RMs to fully understand their evolving needs, risk appetite, and market views. • Design and present tailored FX derivative and structured product ideas that precisely match individual client profiles and market conditions. • Anticipate client requirements — especially during periods of heightened volatility — and proactively recommend hedging strategies or position adjustments to protect or enhance portfolios. • Build and leverage strong relationships with external counterparties to gain real-time market intelligence, exchange trading ideas, and secure competitive pricing and liquidity. • Execute trades with speed, accuracy, and consistent “best-price” outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. • Contribute to the team’s FX market presentations, research notes, and client education initiatives. • Collaborate with back-office and settlement teams to promptly resolve any operational or settlement matters. • Strictly adhere to all trading limits, counterparty risk guidelines, and internal compliance policies.
