Service Line Overview: KPMG is a leading firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) advisory services. Our team is dedicated to helping financial institutions navigate the complexities of sustainable practices, regulatory compliance and get well prepared for net-zero transition for their business operations. Our team is passionate about driving positive change and enabling businesses to thrive in a responsible and sustainable manner. Role & Responsibilities: • Assist in research and analysis of ESG trends, regulations, and best practices; • Support the team in developing ESG strategies and frameworks for client (focus on financial institutions on their net-zero transition plan development); • Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals to clients; • Engage in client meetings and discussions, taking notes and summarizing key points (if appropriate); • Collaborate with team members on ongoing client engagements and initiatives (e.g Round Table for banking sectors, net-zero transition strategy and plan for banking clients, climate risk assessment and strategy development, GHG accounting for portfolio emission etc.);
