Product Manager – IoT Solutions About the Role We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – IoT Solutions with a strong background in device-side / embedded tech. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, architectural design, and commercial deployment of our edge connectivity capabilities (SDKs, gateways, Matter, A2A). You will work closely with ecosystem partners and internal engineering teams to bridge hardware, cloud, and mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities • Connectivity Productization: Drive product planning for device-side connectivity, including Device SDKs, lightweight onboarding, gateway integration, App-to-App (A2A), and Matter protocol capabilities. • Architecture & Onboarding Design: Lead end-to-end technical design and review for smart home device integration across chipsets/modules, firmware, communication protocols, data models, provisioning, control, state sync, OTA updates, and security authentication. • Ecosystem Partner Enablement: Partner with home appliance and smart hardware OEMs to validate technical architecture, adapt SDKs, conduct joint testing/debugging, obtain certifications, and drive products into mass production/deployment. • Quality Assurance: Define standardized acceptance criteria for device onboarding and mass production, tracking core metrics including pairing success rate, device online rate, control latency, reconnect time, OTA reliability, and cross-brand stability. • Root-Cause Analysis & Escalation: Analyze complex connectivity issues by inspecting device logs, mobile App logs, platform logs, and packet traces to isolate root causes and orchestrate resolutions across edge, cloud, mobile, and third-party partner engineering teams. • Standardization & Best Practices: Translate single-project customizations into scalable, platform-level SDK capabilities, device integration specifications, technical documentation, test suites, and best practices to lower onboarding friction for future hardware. • Technical Improvement: Stay ahead of smart home connectivity standards (Wi-Fi, BLE, Matter, Thread, Zigbee) to continually refine corporate technical specifications and product roadmaps. • Cross-Functional Governance: Balance technical feasibility, user experience, bill-of-materials (BOM) cost, quality, and time-to-market across Product, R&D, QA, Operations, and Ecosystem Business Development teams.
