**Ref.:** 537420 • *Work type:** Full-time • *Department:** Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (20600) • *Categories:** Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow ### Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in Peptide Chemistry and Bioconjugation (Ref.:537420) We are inviting applications for Post-doctoral Fellow positions in peptide and bioconjugate chemistry, in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. ### Duties and Responsibilities - Design, synthesize, and chemically modify peptide therapeutics and related biomolecules, including peptide conjugates, cyclic peptides, and other next-generation peptide-based drug modalities. - Independently operate and maintain peptide synthesis, purification, characterization, and analytical platforms, including automated peptide synthesizers and other relevant instrumentation. - Establish and optimize workflows for peptide production, conjugation, quality control, and analytical characterization, ensuring reproducibility and high-quality outputs. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance peptide- and antibody-based drug development programs - Undertake other duties as assigned. - 5.5 workday per week is required. ### Requirements - a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peptide Chemistry, or a closely related discipline. - Proven ability to independently operate peptide synthesis instruments and related characterization technologies. - Demonstrated hands-on experience in peptide synthesis, purification, characterization, and chemical modification. - Experience in developing and optimizing synthetic routes, conjugation chemistries, and analytical methods for peptide or protein therapeutics. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. - Preference will be given to candidates who, (i) have held key technical roles in leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or peptide/bioconjugation technology companies; and/or, (ii) have experience in antibody conjugation, bioconjugation chemistry, protein engineering, or antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development.
