Vice President / Associate, Global Markets Trade Support (FICC / Equity Derivatives)

Job Description

We are seeking a Trade Support professional to manage the post-trade lifecycle across FICC / Equity Derivatives products. You will act as a key liaison between the trading desk, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure trade accuracy, timely settlement, and operational risk mitigation. Job Responsibilities: • Accurately capture and validate trades in booking systems (e.g., Bloomberg TOMS/AIMS or internal platforms) post-execution. • Manage trade affirmation/confirmation and coordinate with custodians and Prime Brokers to ensure timely settlement and resolve trade failures. • Monitor corporate actions (coupons, redemptions, mergers, credit events) and derivative lifecycle events (resets, fixings, rolls, compressions). • Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparty statements to identify and resolve breaks. • Assist with margin call calculations (Initial/Variation) for cleared and bilateral OTC derivatives. • Assist with HKTR reporting and post-trade processing. • Provide real-time support to the trading desk on post-trade issues and collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT on escalations and process improvements. • Participate in ad-hoc initiatives to support new products and automate manual processes.
