Role Summary: Hands-on AI Solutions Engineer role sitting close to senior leadership. Focused on building practical AI tools, agentic workflows and decision-support systems that improve executive productivity and speed up strategic decisions. This is a builder role that turns ambiguous problems into reliable, production-grade solutions — not research or prompt-only work. What are your key day-to-day responsibilities: • Design and build autonomous agents and data pipelines that extract, structure and synthesise information from internal systems and external sources. • Develop executive dashboards, reports and tools that deliver clear, low-latency insights for decision-making. • Build and maintain production-grade backend services, data pipelines and platform components that support AI workloads at scale. • Apply practical analytics, forecasting and light machine learning where they improve decision quality. • Rapidly prototype tools for senior leadership, then mature successful ones into production services with clear ownership. • Implement and operate MLOps / LLMOps pipelines covering packaging, versioning, deployment, monitoring and rollback. • Ensure solutions meet group technology standards, security requirements and operational support expectations. • Work with technology, cybersecurity and operations teams to define runbooks, support models and incident processes. • Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
