Director, Product Delivery & Governance

We are looking for an insurance professional with strong product, governance, and regulatory experience, who is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning complex initiatives end to end.

The Director, Product Delivery & Governance is responsible for providing strategic leadership over product implementation, product governance, Day 2 product management and ensure products are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is an effective cross-functional collaborator and communicator, able to balance commercial needs with robust risk management and regulatory compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Act as a Product Owner or Delivery Lead for the implementation of various product initiatives across the product lifecycle by partnering closely with cross-functional teams. Deliver training and briefing sessions to internal stakeholders if necessary.
• Ensure delivery capacity, prioritization, and execution are aligned with business growth objectives.
• Drive execution excellence through disciplined planning, governance, and stakeholder management.
• Establish and own the enterprise product delivery strategy and operating model. Champion agile and modern delivery practices to improve speed, quality, and predictability.
• Own the development of user requirements and partner with IT BA/IT PM to deliver on the system changes to support the delivery of the product initiative.
• Provide insights into product delivery, technology, and market trends.
• Effectively communicate desired outcomes based on the agreed product roadmap.
• Focus on risk management, work with legal and compliance departments to obtain necessary approvals and support, while ensuring material meets regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in finance, marketing, business, or related field.
• 10+ years relevant insurance experience and a strong track record in project delivery and execution.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and industry practices.
