Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Lead the Compliance function across Asia, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. • Provide pragmatic and risk-based compliance advice to management and business teams on new initiatives, products, distribution channels, and cross-border business activities. • Oversee key compliance disciplines including AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions screening, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), licensing, product compliance, and business conduct. • Act as the primary contact with regulators, including the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (HKIA), and manage regulatory reporting, inspections, inquiries, and ongoing regulatory relationships. • Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and controls. • Ensure robust frameworks are in place to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risks. • Conduct compliance reviews, thematic assessments, and monitoring activities to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls. • Provide strategic oversight and direction for Group-wide client screening and World-Check activities. • Partner with local, regional, and Group stakeholders to enhance screening effectiveness and operational efficiency.
