About the Role Working closely with a Senior Engineer and cross-functional teams, you will help build practical Machine Learning and Generative AI applications, turning new ideas into useful solutions for real-world business needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems, exploring emerging AI technologies, and taking ownership of technical solutions in a financial services environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Python-based Machine Learning and Generative AI applications for banking-related use cases. • Build and improve LLM-powered solutions, including document processing, information extraction, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). • Explore new AI technologies and propose innovative approaches to improve existing workflows. • Participate in technical discussions, proof-of-concept development, testing, and solution implementation. • Work closely with engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions. • Help ensure AI applications are reliable, maintainable, and suitable for their intended use. Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline. • Around 3–5 years of relevant experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or software development involving AI; candidates with 2+ years of strong hands-on experience are also welcome. • Proficiency in Python and experience using relevant Python libraries for AI/ML development. • Practical experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Machine Learning applications. • Experience with RAG, NLP, document processing, or information extraction is an advantage. • Financial services or banking experience is highly preferred, particularly familiarity with banking workflows.
