Job Description

HKUST is seeking a dedicated full-time Veterinarian / Veterinary Manager to join our Laboratory Animal Facility team. The position primarily involves post-approval monitoring in the central animal facility and across animal research areas within the institution. Key Responsibilities Animal Welfare Oversight: Monitor and ensure housing, environmental enrichment, and behavioral management programs support species-appropriate physical health and behavioral well-being. Ethical Compliance: Assist the Attending Veterinarian in collaborating with the Animal Ethics Committee and the University to review protocols, advise on humane endpoints, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
