Role Overview: This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a critical value stream within the firm's asset management platform. You will lead the delivery of capabilities supporting emerging asset classes, new product innovation, and evolving client requirements, working closely with investment, technology, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: • Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for emerging investment and client capabilities within the platform • Own prioritisation and backlog management, translating business and investment needs into actionable delivery plans • Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with broader platform objectives • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor engagement to drive efficient and high-quality delivery • Partner closely with portfolio managers, quant researchers, and traders to build scalable front-office tools • Establish and evolve architecture, data models, and integration frameworks for long-term scalability • Drive engineering excellence across teams, including standards for code quality, testing, and deployment • Oversee operational risk, system stability, and regulatory compliance within a controlled environment • Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team, fostering strong collaboration across business and technology stakeholders • Track and measure outcomes to ensure delivery aligns with business impact and strategic goals Key Requirements: • Proven experience leading large-scale technology delivery programmes in asset management or capital markets • Strong understanding of front-office investment workflows and portfolio management systems • Experience working with emerging asset classes such as digital assets, real estate, or private markets • Deep familiarity with agile delivery frameworks at scale (e.g. SAFe or similar) • Strong commercial acumen, including ownership of budgets, investment decisions, and vendor management • Solid technical foundation with experience in system architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and scalable platforms • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across investment, technology, and business teams • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams across multiple disciplines • Experience delivering AI/data-driven solutions into production environments • Strong understanding of operating in regulated environments, including data governance and controls Nice to Have: • Hands-on experience with Python or data engineering ecosystems • Exposure to systematic investing or quantitative research environments • Experience building reusable platform components and shared services • Familiarity with research-to-production workflows in investment technology Why Join: • Opportunity to shape the next generation of investment platform capabilities • High-impact leadership role with direct influence on business and technology strategy • Work closely with front-office investment teams on cutting-edge initiatives • Collaborative, product-driven culture with strong engineering focus • Competitive compensation and long-term career growth opportunities Show More
