Associate, Operational Risk (Brokerage Securities)

Job Description

My client is a leading Regional securities that is targeting Operational risk talent for their Risk team to support their APAC business. Responsibilities: • Oversee adherence to the Operational Risk framework, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. • Implement methodologies to identify & mitigate risks arising from internal and external stakeholders. • Evaluate operational risk policies, procedures, and controls to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness. • Provide strategic advisory support to front office and maintain risk appetite, • Support incident management reporting and operational loss management. • Foster a culture of risk awareness and transparency, promoting clear understanding of residual risks and remedial strategies. • Conduct regular risk assessments, control testing , audits, and scenario analyses to uphold operational integrity and verify the measures • Offer expertise on risk considerations related to change management and revamp framework and policy for enterprise risk management • Oversee operational excellence initiatives focusing on risk control and process improvements.
