Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to lead and strengthen our organisation’s safety culture and compliance framework. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of occupational health, safety, and risk management across multiple business areas. Responsibilities • Provide expert advice on all Health & Safety (H&S) matters across the organisation, ensuring best practice and regulatory compliance • Develop, implement, and continuously improve H&S policies, procedures, and management systems • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations, and drive timely corrective actions • Lead and manage internal and external audit processes, including but not limited to evidence collection, report preparation, and compliance alignment • Ensure full compliance with local legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO 45001 standards • Maintain accurate safety records, compliance documentation, and regulatory reports • Analyse and interpret H&S performance data, identifying trends and improvement opportunities • Produce clear and insightful reports and dashboards, covering audit findings, risk trends, and action plans • Promote a strong safety culture, driving engagement and awareness across all levels of the organisation Show More
