HNW Compliance Lead - Life Insurance Job Purpose The HNW Compliance Lead designs, implements, and oversees the regulatory compliance framework for the High Net Worth (HNW) life insurance business. This role ensures that premium financing arrangements, universal life policies, and complex broker networks strictly adhere to regional insurance regulations and financial crime standards. Key Responsibilities • Enhance Due Diligence: Lead the Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF) verification processes for high-value premium placements and multi-jurisdictional trust structures. • Oversee Financial Crime: Manage Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) programs tailored specifically to HNW insurance products. • Govern Product Distribution: Review cross-border marketing materials, broker agreements, and product disclosures to guarantee alignment with insurance authority guidelines. • Manage Regulatory Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for insurance regulators, managing statutory filings, audits, and policy breach investigations. • Advise Premium Financing: Evaluate the compliance risks of external premium financing lending arrangements and third-party bank partnerships. • Conduct Compliance Training: Educate internal sales teams, brokers, and independent financial advisors on evolving regulatory expectations and ethical sales practices.
