Program Assurance Specialist

About the Role We are looking for a Program Assurance Specialist to join our Compliance & AML team. This role will focus on ensuring that compliance and AML frameworks, controls, processes and remediation initiatives are effectively implemented and operating as intended across the business. The role will work closely with Compliance, AML, Risk, Operations, Product and other business functions to provide ongoing assurance, identify gaps and drive improvements across the compliance program. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular reviews and assurance testing of AML, compliance and risk controls, policies and processes. • Assess whether key compliance controls are appropriately designed, implemented and operating effectively. • Identify control gaps, process weaknesses and emerging compliance risks, and work with relevant stakeholders to develop remediation plans. • Track compliance and AML remediation activities, ensuring actions are completed within agreed timelines. • Support compliance monitoring, thematic reviews, control assessments and internal assurance exercises. • Develop and maintain assurance frameworks, testing methodologies, procedures and reporting. • Analyse compliance data, findings and trends to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement. • Work cross-functionally with Compliance, AML, Risk, Operations, Product and Technology teams to strengthen processes and controls. • Prepare clear reports and management updates on assurance findings, remediation progress and key compliance risks. • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits and external reviews where required. • Keep up to date with regulatory and industry developments and assess their potential impact on the compliance and AML framework.
