CDD / KYC / AML Specialist – Sizable Bank & Securities

Our clients are market-leading corporate banks, retail banks, and major securities brokerages in Hong Kong. Due to team expansion, they are looking for high-caliber compliance and operations talent to join their CDD / KYC / AML Client Onboarding & Periodic Review teams. Candidates with more experience will be directly considered for the Senior Officer or Assistant Manager track. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for individual, corporate, or institutional clients. • * Perform background checks, name screening (PEP, Sanctions, Adverse Media), and risk assessment grading. • * Identify high-risk triggers, source of wealth (SOW), and source of funds (SOF) inconsistencies, escalating suspicious cases to the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team. • * Assist in transaction monitoring and historical remediation projects to ensure compliance with HKMA / SFC regulatory standards. • * [For AM Grading]: Guide and review the case output of junior analysts, act as a key checker, handle complex corporate structures (e.g., offshore trusts, funds), and assist in updating compliance procedures.
