Job Description

Our client, a top tier global buy side firm, are actively seeking a Golang Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services. You will work on high-throughput, performance-sensitive systems—supporting trading, portfolio/risk workflows, data services, and internal platforms. You’ll partner with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable software with strong engineering practices. The role: • Develop and maintain backend services using Go (Golang). • Design and implement APIs, internal services, and event-driven or high-throughput processing components. • Build systems that handle performance and reliability requirements (latency, throughput, resilience). • Integrate with data sources and services (e.g., SQL/NoSQL, message queues/streaming platforms depending on stack). • Improve observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and support production operations. • Write clean, well-tested code; contribute to code reviews and engineering standards. • Participate in agile delivery, estimation, and release activities. • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement through automation and better tooling.
