Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java-based applications within the Smart Derivatives perimeter, following established coding, quality, and technology standards. • Take ownership of the successful delivery of technical solutions from development through implementation. • Work closely with clients and project teams to communicate development progress, requirements, and delivery status. • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Work with Application Support and Production teams to troubleshoot issues and provide 3rd-line production support. • Assist in defining and evolving software architectures by working with technical leads to understand existing systems, identify complexity and risks, and assess application capabilities. • Collaborate with central technology teams to define, establish, and implement development best practices. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, application quality, and engineering standards.
