Riverhawk Company, a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions, is currently seeking a Plater to join our team. As a Plater at Riverhawk, this individual will be responsible for utilizing chemicals to plate and coat parts. This is a full time, first shift position (6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday) at our main location in New Hartford, NY.What You'll Do:Abide by safety guidelines set forth by OSHA, DEC, and Riverhawk CompanyClean process partsElectroplate process parts and measure plating thickness of said partsKeep a tidy working environmentPerform bath analysis with titrationsCollect and properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous wasteMaintain a variety of logs and other recordkeeping Utilize the computer, including Microsoft Office products and our ERP System (Syteline) to make work transactionsWhat We Need: The qualifications below are requirements for the Plater role:A high school diploma or GED is required, a degree or related coursework in chemistry, metallurgy, material science, or industrial safety strongly preferred1-2 years of experience working with chemicals preferredMust pass respirator training and fit testAbility to read mics Familiarity with measurement systems and conversionsA general understanding of ISO 9001 and the Riverhawk Quality PolicyWhat you get: Riverhawk Company offers a competitive pay and benefit package for their employees.
