Job Description

Global Markets Middle-Office Operations Lead (Fixed Income / Bond / Repo) You will be responsible to support the day-to-day processing and control of Fixed Income, Bond, and Repo products within a dynamic Global Banking and Markets Operations environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of transactions while maintaining strong operational controls and risk management standards. Key Responsibilities • Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle for Fixed Income, Bond, and Repo products, ensuring accurate and timely processing from trade execution through settlement. • Act as the primary liaison between Front Office, counterparties, custodians, and settlement agents to investigate and resolve trade exceptions, settlement issues, and position discrepancies. • Monitor daily securities and cash positions, coordinating securities movements and inventory management activities to support settlement and funding requirements. • Perform trade validation, settlement monitoring, and exception management to mitigate operational and settlement risks. • Produce operational, risk, and management reporting relating to bond, repo, securities lending, and financing activities. • Conduct cash and securities reconciliations, identify transaction breaks, and drive timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders. • Support funding, collateral, and inventory-related activities across Fixed Income and Repo trading desks. • Partner with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure effective trade support and operational control. • Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, regulatory change projects, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong risk and control environment.
