The Company Our client is a leading FI, and they are seeking for an experienced fund accounting candidate to join the team. The Role • Support day-to-day investment asset operations - IFRS 9 reporting, including valuation updates, investment clearing, and back-office processing to ensure smooth and accurate operations. • Lead timely and accurate month-end closing for investment assets, including preparation of investment accounting entries, manual journals, fund unit reconciliations, bank/cash settlement reconciliations, and other closing activities. • Prepare comprehensive investment asset reports for the Company and Group levels to meet internal, group, and regulatory reporting requirements, while supporting external audits and compliance. • Collaborate closely with the Investment Team, and other stakeholders to provide expert support and foster cross-functional alignment. • Assist in developing and regularly reviewing investment back-office policies and procedures to ensure they align with company needs and effectively mitigate risks. • Support business performance evaluation, new business planning, strategic initiatives, and project delivery by providing investment-related financial analysis and recommendations. • Contribute to the annual business planning and quarterly forecasting processes with accurate investment inputs. • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, identify key trends, and prepare insightful reports to enable data-driven decision-making by senior management. • Perform quarterly control self-assessments (CSA) and policy submissions to maintain strong compliance and risk management standards. • Conduct market research and evaluation of investment back-office systems and tools; lead the implementation or enhancement of suitable solutions at the right time. Continuously review and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks. Show More
