As they are currently investing into their market growth, they are hiring a new Senior Pricing Manager, Actuarial (Health Insurance) position to join the Health Product team. Your new role • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies for the individual health segment, ensuring alignment with business performance targets and risk tolerance. • Establish and refine pricing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to promote consistency, discipline, and customer fairness. • Take ownership of the periodic premium review process, including model analysis, assumption validation, and recommendation delivery. • Work collaboratively with teams across underwriting, product development, and distribution to influence go‑to‑market strategies. • Analyse portfolio data in depth to uncover insights on performance drivers, including claims trends, customer behaviour, and risk factors. • Apply data-led decision making to optimise the balance between growth, retention, and profitability outcomes. • Lead, coach, and develop a small actuarial team, encouraging strong technical capability and professional growth. • Drive improvements in pricing approaches through enhanced analytics, modelling techniques, and process automation. • Ensure robust governance across pricing activities, including clear documentation, controls, and audit readiness. • Translate complex actuarial analysis into clear, concise insights for senior decision-makers. • Provide input into broader business initiatives, including new product development and market expansion opportunities. • Continuously improve pricing processes and frameworks to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
