Recognized for its sophisticated product offerings and commitment to regulatory integrity, the institution continues to expand its wealth management platform while upholding a world-class risk control and governance architecture. job scope. • Direct day-to-day risk oversight for the Front Office, ensuring all relationship management activities, trade executions, and client lifecycle processes comply fully with institutional directives and supervisory standards. • Act as the primary subject matter expert on complex KYC, source of wealth/funds validation, and account opening structures (including multi-layered corporate vehicles, trusts, and foundations). • Evaluate and sanction high-risk client onboarding files, PEP applications, and Front Office exception requests, delivering pragmatic, risk-informed decisions in close alignment with Legal and Business Risk Management. • Streamline client onboarding workflows and operational risk processes to enhance execution efficiency while maintaining uncompromising standards of risk mitigation. • Execute regular business risk reviews, data analytics, and control assessments to identify vulnerabilities, leading swift resolution of internal/external audit findings and regulatory inquiries. • Design and cascade targeted risk enablement programs, regulatory updates, and market intelligence to embed a robust, proactive compliance culture across front-line teams. • Lead and represent the department in strategic risk initiatives, working groups, business forums, and executive governance committees. Requirements. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in first-line risk management, business risk oversight, or CDD/KYC account onboarding within a premier Private Banking or Global Wealth Management institution. • Deep technical command of regional AML/CFT regulatory requirements, cross-border guidelines, and complex entity structure verification methodologies. • Exceptional communication and gravitas, with a proven ability to challenge, guide, and collaborate effectively with Relationship Managers, Senior Management, and Legal & Compliance partners. • Superior problem-solving capabilities, structured analytical thinking, and the resilience to operate autonomously under demanding timeframes.
