About The Role The team is looking for a Senior Associate/ Vice President-level candidate to support Asia Institutional Equities Division (IED) in the 1st Line of Defense for Non-Market Risk. This role is based in Hong Kong and focuses on IED's business across Asia Pacific, excluding Japan. Key Responsibilities • Perform first-line non-market risk management across Cash Equities, Prime Brokerage and Derivatives, covering regulatory, operational, conduct, technology and franchise / reputational risk. • Drive governance oversight across key forums and business-aligned processes, including committee participation, escalation management, and ownership of a portfolio of activities such as client risk reviews, governance and information security-related work, and day-to-day engagement with stakeholders on risk-related matters. • Lead project management and delivery of risk and control initiatives, including process enhancements and strategic business initiatives. • Drive risk oversight across core processes, including incident management, control design & enhancement, monitoring of key risk indicators and supervisory frameworks, and contributing to broader control and review activities as required.
