Associate Director (Research Grants and Contracts Office)

Job Description

Duties Oversee the administration and monitoring of research funding programs, grant/award applications and research initiatives, ensuring alignment with funding/award agency requirements and University policies, as well as providing information for strategic planning and decision-making processes; Develop and implement initiatives that promote research engagement and visibility within the University and the broader community; Collaborate, cultivate and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty members, government agencies, industry partners, and funding organisations, to identify funding opportunities and enhance collaborative research efforts; Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure effective delivery of service; Provide secretarial and logistical support to committees and working groups; Handle ad hoc assignments and tasks delegated by the Director and/ or the Office of the Vice-President (Research); and Perform any other duties as assigned.
