A forward-thinking robotics technology organisation seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer in Hong Kong to develop next-generation robotics software and control systems, driving innovation in intelligent automation. Key responsibilities: • Develop and maintain ROS2- and microROS-based robotics control software, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performance operation across advanced robotic platforms • Design and optimise functional safety software, motion control algorithms, state machines, and embedded safety logic, ensuring compliance with CE and US industrial robotics safety standards • Lead the integration of sensors, actuators, real-time control systems, and AI software to deliver intelligent, high-performance robotic solutions • Drive system debugging, validation, troubleshooting, and on-site deployment, resolving complex embedded, force control, and manipulation challenges on Jetson and ARM platforms • Partner with AI specialists and systems engineers to deliver stable hardware-software integration and successful end-to-end robotics projects • Advance engineering excellence by enhancing development workflows, contributing to code reviews and best practices, and adopting emerging robotics technologies to drive continuous innovation Show More
