(Senior) Product Engineer

Job Description

The Product Engineer is expected to be involved in the development of AI educational toolkits in EduAIR. He/she will conduct research and development tasks that are assigned by the director. He/she is required to station and work at the Hong Kong Science Park, with occasional travels to the Chinese University of Hong Kong when needed. The position is recruited under the scheme of Research Talent Hub (RTH) of Innovation Technology Commissioner. The key responsibility includes: • Research, design and develop hardware components of toolkits, with a focus on engineering design and microcontrollers integration. • Research, design and optimize internal and external structures to support hardware components, including frames, brackets, and subassemblies. • Conduct analyses and research to minimize weight while maintaining structural integrity and rigidity. • Program microcontrollers such as STM32, Arduino, and ESP32 for wireless communication and hardware integration. • Conduct debugging, testing, and performance optimization to ensure system reliability and scalability.
