Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead – FPGA Synthesis We’re a high-growth FPGA company advancing our synthesis technology and looking for an experienced engineer to help evolve our core synthesis engine and optimization infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in commercial EDA tools who want deeper architectural ownership and direct impact on QoR and product direction. Responsibilities • Design and enhance core synthesis engine (elaboration, logic synthesis, tech mapping, retiming, etc.) • Drive improvements in QoR (area, timing, power) across real customer workloads • Contribute to algorithm and data structure evolution for scalability and maintainability • Develop performance-critical C++ systems for large-scale designs • Lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers Qualifications • Strong C++ skills (C++14/17/20) and experience in large-scale systems • Solid understanding of algorithms and compiler-style infrastructures • Experience with FPGA or ASIC synthesis, Boolean optimization, AIG/LUT mapping, or timing-driven flows • Background in commercial EDA tool development strongly preferred Why Consider This Role • High visibility and real influence on synthesis architecture • Opportunity to shape next-generation FPGA technology • Smaller, focused team with meaningful ownership • Technically challenging problems at production scale Show More
