About the Role Customer Centricity – • The Senior Manager – FP&A (“SM”) is a dynamic and strategic leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. • As a key business partner, the SM collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to enhance cost management, improve operational efficiency, and deliver actionable insights. The role plays a critical part in supporting both tactical execution and long-term strategic decision-making, contributing to sustainable business growth and value creation. Roles and Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning Deliver in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions Conduct variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast), providing actionable recommendations Support investment evaluations, business case development, and scenario analysis Business Partnering Partner with Blue Cross departments and AIAHK departments to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive profitability improvement Provide financial guidance to support cost control and operational decision-making Monitor relevant outsourcing services with AIAHK and other AIA Group entities including GOE, financial reporting and investment accounting and services Cash, Liquidity Management and Investment Governance Monitor daily cash forecast to meet obligations and funding arrangement Review liquidity contingency plan under AIA Standard Ensure investment limit and liquidity ratios are complied with relevant requirements Reporting & Controls Deliver timely and accurate management (including risk and compliance) reports to senior leadership and stakeholders Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting frameworks Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards Process Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and enhancement of FP&A processes Enhance financial reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities Minimum Job Requirements: Education & Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline Fellow member of HKICPA or equivalent professional accounting body Experience Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including: - At least 5 years at managerial level - Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in the insurance industry - At least 3 years of audit experience in a professional firm Competencies Strong analytical and financial modelling skills Excellent business acumen and strategic mindset Proven leadership and team development ability Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure Others: You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
