We are seeking a world-class scientist and visionary leader to serve as the Chief Principal Investigator to lead a multidisciplinary research program focused on the frontline of emerging infectious diseases. This role is designed for a distinguished academic who has significantly advanced the global understanding of virus-host interactions and translated basic science into life-saving vaccine development and medical biotechnologies. Responsibility The Chief Principal Investigator will provide high-level strategic leadership for the Centre, assuming primary responsibility for the design, execution, and clinical translation of influenza-based viral-vectored vaccine platforms. This includes spearheading initiatives to develop next-generation delivery systems and broad-spectrum protective strategies against emerging respiratory threats. The appointee will also oversee a sophisticated research program investigating the molecular mechanisms of host restriction and viral adaptation during cross-species transmission events, utilizing integrated structural biology and multi-omics frameworks.
