Role Summary The Senior Cybersecurity Defence Engineer is a hands-on, multi-hat security professional responsible for building security into solutions by design, engineering and operating security tooling and detection capabilities, and leading incident response execution. This role bridges security architecture, security engineering, and security operations, partnering closely with IT, cloud/platform teams, application owners, and external service providers to reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and improve detection and response outcomes.
