Senior Quantitative Development Lead, HFT

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Development Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of our high-frequency trading (HFT) platform. You will lead a team of engineers to build core infrastructure components, ensuring maximum performance, reliability, and scalability of our trading systems. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of developers, guiding best practices in Rust and low-latency system development. • Own the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance HFT infrastructure: market data handlers, order execution engines, risk gateways, and low-latency messaging pipelines. • Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to translate trading strategies into robust, production-grade systems. • Drive performance improvements across the platform: latency profiling, throughput optimization, and production stability. • Oversee the development of backtesting and simulation frameworks to support research and strategy validation. • Establish system observability, monitoring, and alerting standards; participate in on-call rotation for critical production systems. • Promote modern software engineering practices, including agent-assisted development workflows, automated testing, and code quality standards.
