Job Description

Job Summary Seeking an experienced Mainframe Automation Engineer with expertise in IBM System Automation (SA z/OS) and OPS/MVS to design, implement, and support automation solutions in enterprise z/OS environments. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automation rules using SA z/OS and OPS/MVS • Design event-driven automation for console messages, jobs, and system resources • Automate startup/shutdown workflows and recovery procedures • Support DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, JES2/JES3 automation • Configure message automation and suppression rules • Integrate automation with Control-M / IWS schedulers • Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root cause analysis • Support SYSPLEX, multi-LPAR, and GDPS environments • Maintain documentation and support change management activities
