Job Description

The Company We’re hiring a Java Developer to join a world‑class global investment bank, building mission‑critical, low‑latency trading systems used directly by front‑office teams. This is a hands‑on role sitting close to the trading floor, where your work has real‑time market impact and is relied upon daily by traders and sales teams across global markets. The Role • Design and build high‑performance Java applications powering latency‑sensitive electronic trading • Take end‑to‑end ownership of solutions—from architecture and development to production support • Work directly with front‑office stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory needs into robust technical solutions • Apply strong software engineering practices to ensure quality, resilience, security, and compliance • Improve observability and production health, proactively resolving incidents and driving root‑cause fixes • Collaborate with a global engineering community, contributing to innovation and continuous improvement • Mentor and support other engineers, helping shape a strong engineering culture
