Private Equity Analyst

Job Description

We are representing a well-capitalised investment platform building out its Private Equity presence in Asia. This hire marks the first on-the-ground investment professional in Hong Kong, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and regional investment strategy, particularly across North Asia. Key Responsibilities • Partner with portfolio companies to drive value creation initiatives, including market expansion, revenue growth, and operational improvements • Monitor portfolio performance, track KPIs, and support preparation of materials for senior management and board discussions • Evaluate and support execution of strategic initiatives such as new market entry, product expansion, pricing optimisation, and selective M&A • Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitor research across North Asia, with a focus on Japan • Identify investment themes, trends, and structural growth drivers to support investment strategy • Support deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution, including financial modelling and valuation analysis (DCF, comparables, transaction comps) • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and materials for internal decision-making processes • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout due diligence and transaction execution Show More
