Job Details Job Summary The Research Scientist will lead or contribute to cutting-edge research in small-molecule synthesis and optimization, playing a key role in the design, development, and scale-up of novel compounds for biomedical or pharmaceutical applications. The role emphasizes both scientific innovation and translational application, integrating chemistry with drug discovery and development workflows. Key Responsibilities • Independently design and perform complex synthetic routes to generate chemical libraries. • Conduct purification, scale-up, and structural confirmation using NMR, LC–MS, and other analytical tools. • Collaborate with computational chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists on target validation and optimization. • Maintain detailed experimental documentation and ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols. • Lead data interpretation, manuscript drafting, and patent preparation. • Participate in project management and strategy discussions. • Mentor junior scientists and research assistants.
