Middle Office Operations Analyst – Equity Financing - J12880

Our client is a leading investment bank in Hong Kong. They are looking for a MO operation analyst to support the equity financing. Responsibilities • Trade & Lifecycle Monitoring: Perform daily reviews of contract comparisons to identify and resolve economic discrepancies in Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) activity, return notifications, and bilateral/tri-party flows. • Collateral & Liquidity Management: Supervise domestic and international tri-party transactions, including trade matching, collateral allocation/release, and corporate liquidity pool funding. Manage intraday collateral substitutions to minimize intraday credit usage. • Risk Framework Enforcement: Maintain a robust control framework for all Equity Financing trading activity. Mitigate execution errors, manage operational risks, and ensure full alignment with regulatory frameworks and internal policies. • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and build relationships with Front Office (Trading/Sales), local custodians, tri-party agents, SBL counterparties, and technology teams across APAC. • Team Uplift & Governance: Assist in updating policies and standard procedures while mentoring junior staff.
