Our client is a prominent player in the consumer finance sector, specializing in credit management, operations, and marketing to deliver accessible financial solutions. Responsibilities • Oversee the team’s daily performance, providing leadership and coaching to ensure alignment with company and departmental standards. • Own workforce planning for the team, including manpower forecasting and resource strategy. • Manage daily operational activities to ensure targets and service levels are met. • Develop, refine, and implement credit risk models to evaluate client risk profiles. • Conduct ongoing model performance monitoring, validation, and back-testing to confirm effectiveness and accuracy. • Apply statistical methods, predictive analytics, and risk modeling tools to assess credit risk and deliver data-driven recommendations. • Partner with business stakeholders to turn model insights into practical strategies and decision support. • Review and approve credit applications within approved lending authority. • Approve, oversee, and monitor Debt Relief Planning (DRP) cases in accordance with policy. • Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. • Detect early warning signals in loan portfolios and, when needed, collaborate with relationship managers to initiate timely remedial measures. • Track and monitor strategy execution to support management decision-making and strengthen cross-segment, cross-product, and cross-channel collaboration. • Support product lifecycle reviews and enhancements, including credit control oversight for Sales initiatives.
