Senior KDB+ Engineer 12 month contract 50-80K HKD per month (depending on seniority/experience) Location: Hong Kong (No Visa Sponsorship) Join a Tier-1 Financial institution’s electronic trading desk as a Senior KDB+ Engineer. You will be part of a team responsible for the data platform used by Quants and Traders for real-time risk, pricing, and backtesting. This is a high-availability environment with multiple production releases per day and a massive global data footprint. Technical Stack & Responsibilities • Design and optimize scalable KDB+ tick architectures (TP, RDB, HDB) and data access layers. • Write optimized, vectorized q code to handle multi-terabyte daily data ingestion. • Full ownership of the SDLC—TDD/BDD, build automation, and CI/CD are core to the workflow. • Partner with Quants and eTech teams to build APIs and analytics for automated trading.
