Digital and Innovation Lead (construction)

Job Description

On behalf of a sizeable construction firm with global interests we are seeking a digital and innovation manager who will report directly into the group head of function. Role: • Lead the Digital Strategy and Innovation unit to formulate and implement the digital & innovation strategy in digital engineering / design, digital construction, and digital project management. • Define and formulate project plans, prioritise the implementation programme, identify risks and barriers, establish mitigation strategies, manage stakeholders, and prepare budgets. • Develop and implement standardisation and governance protocols for digital and innovation initiatives. • Analyse users and business requirements to develop business cases and collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to oversee and implement development and ongoing upgrades of relevant systems and applications. • Engage internal stakeholders / end-users actively and review business pain-points, work processes, and procedures to identify areas for improvement to achieve enhancements. • Co-ordinate with the internal IT team to develop and launch new digital developments and initiatives, ensuring compliance with Corporate IT standards and governance.
