The Role & Landscape: Joining the Global Infrastructure Team, you will serve as a specialized Windows Platform & Automation Engineer. This role is strictly focused on the backend server architecture and identity management that underpins research technology, market execution, and massive data pipelines. You will move away from desktop escalations to focus on high-level Active Directory engineering and cross-platform scripting. • Backend Architecture: Build, scale, and optimize enterprise-grade Windows Server environments (2022–2025) and VMware virtualized infrastructure. • Identity Management: Design, deploy, and support globally distributed, multi-forest Active Directory ecosystems, managing DNS, trusts, replication, and Entra ID integration. • Cross-Platform Automation: Write, maintain, and execute advanced automation scripts utilizing PowerShell, Perl, and Shell to streamline infrastructure provisioning and bridge heterogeneous environments. • Infrastructure as Code: Drive modern configuration management and automated workflows to eliminate manual AD user/group management and server deployments. • Resilience & Security: Architect complex Group Policy Objects (GPOs), manage RBAC models, and ensure bulletproof disaster recovery via optimized backup platforms.
